OUR PROGRAMS
We have different programs that work towards the cause of our project
MHM & SRH
Menstrual Hygiene Management is a critical component in adolescents Sexual and Reproductive Health. This program supports adolescent girls in 6 schools within the Korogocho Slum and Dandora, with regular, quality, adequate sanitary pads. Feeding Program
The program supports pre-primary children in one of our partner ECDE schools in Korogocho with a well-balanced midday meal and 10.00 O’clock porridge. We know that adequate nutrition in the first years of a child’s life provides the essential building blocks for brain development, healthy growth and strong immune system. Over 130 children have benefited since July 2021.
Machine on Wheels
This program started in September 2021 in partnership with the Tumaini Trust. It seeks to restore dignity and confidence to school children by mending their torn school uniforms. The machine is stationed in one school for a month then it moves to another school. So far 222 school children have benefited from this service.
Mentorship
This program fosters child development by equipping them with various life skills. So far over 2000 children (BOYS AND GIRLS) have benefited.
Child Sponsorship
This program supports needy children in terms of school fees payment. We have 4 children in our sponsorship program.
