ABOUT US

Gifted Inclusive Schools (GIS) located in Korogocho Slum, Ngomongo Village next to True Jesus Church. We are the only school of its kind in the entire Korogocho that offers inclusive learning. Gifted Inclusive Schools is a compassionate community that is passionate in serving children. We work in collaboration with families, pupil and school putting the pupil as the center piece for success.
Our mission is to provide a quality, dignified education in a caring atmosphere so that all the pupils can attain the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute positively to a diverse, interdependent and changing world.
We have professional, well trained, caring staff that enables all pupils to learn at the highest levels.

ENROLLMENT

GIS opened its doors in May 2023 with intakes only in play group. So far we have 22 pupils in play group. We will have intakes in 2024 in play group, Pre-primary 1, pre-primary 2 and grade 1. In 2024 we are looking at a population of 100 pupils.

WHAT WE OFFER IN SCHOOL

  • Conducive, child friendly, individualized and caring learning environment
  • Feeding program – Our children get to take 10 O’clock porridge and a well-balanced meal at noon 
  • Child sponsorship – We serve the most vulnerable many who cannot afford to pay school fee. Our program allows any person who would be willing to adopt a child from a distance to step in. By being a distant parent you keep track of your child wellbeing in conjunction with the school administration. By choosing to adopt a child from a distant you cater for his/her school fees, learning materials, food, and medical care. You will also be able to support the child with home based care package
